In August I had the pleasure to doll up these beautiful ladies hair for a pinup photo shoot. I have done pinup hairstyles for parties or vintage hairstyles for weddings. This is the first time I have done a pinup hairstyle for a shoot. Thanks for letting me be involved!

MRS. Shawnee Garcia

I have been working on this blog post for a while. I had to make sure it was absolutely perfect.

For those of  you who don't know. Shawnee is my Sister-in-law ( in my family we usually don't use the "in-law" part). Shawnee  is honestly one of my favorite people ever. She is so tender hearted, kind, and understanding. She is everything you would ever want in a true friend. I am so lucky to call her sister!

 Shawnee wanted a smooth chignon updo for her bridal pictures. For the finishing touches, we added some details with her hair that really brought a unique feel to this beautiful classic updo.

Miss Parkinson became Mrs. Garcia on August 2nd. The day couldn't of been more dreamy. This cute couple were married in the Logan Temple.

Shelby From Simply Shelby Photogtraphy did a wonderful job with the pictures.

Gibbsons' Green Gate Farm Staged Wedding

In August I had the wonderful opportunity to do hair and makeup at the Gibbsons' Green Gate Farm staged wedding. I was able to meet so many talented people and make new friendships.

Gibbsons' Green Gate Farm  is located just outside the cozy town of Smithfield Utah. It definitely has a charming garden feel and is still  used as a working farm.

It was a joy working with the gorgeous Courtney Poulsen. She is such a beauty inside and out!!

Maclain Drake is such an handsome dude. He was such a good sport being our make believe groom.

Okay, So I know you are  swooning over this dress. It is from Pedals and Promises in Logan Utah.

 I have already had a few people asking me how I made Courtney's bun look so think. The honest truth is that her hair is just that thick! It is okay to be jealous, I am. But backcombing and layering the bun  helped her hair look thicker and more beautiful then it already is.

A HUGE shout goes out to Emily from Natural Bourne Photography and Katie from Katie G photography. They are the photographers who captured the images of these beautiful people, in this lovely place.

It was such a joy helping Rachel get ready for her engagement pictures! Kylee Ann did a wonderful job capturing the personality of this cute couple.

This sweet couple are both graduates of the physics department at Utah State University. In order to make their engagements special they had the photos taken at the USU Observatory and in the Special Collections Room in the USU Merrill-Cazier Library.

Seniors

I know this post is a few months late. But, I figured it is better to post this better late then never.

I also wanted everyone to know I am already making hair and makeup appointments for seniors pictures for this up coming school year!

It was such a blast to work with Cristina. She is such a strong and hard working girl!

 Gavin Vanderbeek took these stunning seniors pictures. It is so much fun working with talented photographers!

Jessica & Scott

When I said I have a busy summer, I wasn't kidding one bit! My Brother-in-law will be marrying this sweet little thing in September. I am so excited for their wedding! It will be a perfect country wedding! 

Jessica and I were up at 5:30 AM (yes, as in the morning)  to start her makeup. It was totally worth it!

I am always amazed to see how morning photo shoots turn out. The lighting looks perfect.

If you are wondering if all Jessica's hair is %100 natural?  The answer is yes, yes it is.

It is okay if you are obsessed, I am too.

So, let me introduce you to another family member that I will gain with this marriage.
